Introducing Organizing Partner: Vietnam-Japan Specialists<\/strong><\/strong> (VJS)(Vietnamese below)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vietnam-Japan Specialists Association (VJS)<\/strong> was officially launched on November 15, 2023. It is a non-profit organization (NPO) comprising leading professors and experts from Vietnam and Japan in the fields of agriculture and biotechnology, hydrogen, energy and batteries, economics, and healthcare. VJS also includes the participation of several Japanese politicians, such as Mr. Seiki Soramoto (an energy and nuclear expert and a member of the House of Representatives of Japan), as well as Japanese billionaires such as Mr. Tetsuro Yamasaka. The Association is chaired by Professor Tran Dang Xuan of Hiroshima University. VJS has two Vice Chairs: Professor Ngo Van Nong (Nagoya University) and Dr. Pham Hung Cuong (Kyushu University).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VJS cooperates with many companies, research institutes, and universities in Japan to conduct joint research and transfer various technologies to Vietnam. These include rural and livestock wastewater treatment technology using the BMW system (Bacteria, Mineral, Water), microbial fertilizer production technology, gene editing, as well as advanced Japanese technologies in healthcare and energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VJS also actively supports human resource training for both Japan and Vietnam, particularly in the semiconductor sector. On April 28, 2025, VJS, together with NIC (the National Innovation Center of Vietnam) and Hiroshima University, signed a memorandum of understanding\u2014witnessed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam and Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba of Japan\u2014on providing training programs and scholarships for Vietnamese trainees to study at Hiroshima University and the University of Idaho (United States).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VJS has been honored to be received by President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man during state-level visits and working trips to Japan from 2023 to 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
