Introducing Co-Organizer: Vietnam-Japan Specialists<\/strong><\/strong> (VJS) (Vietnamese below)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vietnam-Japan Specialists Association (VJS)<\/strong> was established on August 19, 2023, and officially launched on November 15, 2023, as a non-profit organization (NPO) comprising leading professors and experts from Vietnam and Japan in agriculture and biotechnology, hydrogen, energy and batteries, economics, and healthcare. The Association also includes prominent Japanese figures such as Professor Shinji Kaneko – Executive Vice President (Global Initiatives) of Hiroshima University and Director of the Network for Education and Research on Peace and Sustainability (NERPS), Hiroshima University; Mr. Seiki Soramoto – an energy and nuclear expert and President of International Energy & Technology Development Support Organization (IETDSO); and Mr. Tetsuro Yamasaka – a well-known millionaire in Hiroshima and Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VJS is chaired by Professor Tran Dang Xuan of Hiroshima University, with two Vice Chairs: Professor Ngo Van Nong (Nagoya University) and Dr. Pham Hung Cuong (Kyushu University).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VJS cooperates with numerous companies, research institutes, and universities in Japan to conduct joint research and transfer technologies to Vietnam – including rural and livestock wastewater treatment technology using the BMW system (Bacteria, Mineral, Water), microbial fertilizer production, gene editing, and advanced Japanese technologies in healthcare and energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VJS also actively supports human resource training for both countries, particularly in the semiconductor sector. On April 28, 2025, VJS – together with the National Innovation Center of Vietnam (NIC) and Hiroshima University – signed a memorandum of understanding, witnessed by Former Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam and Former Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba of Japan, on training programs and scholarships for Vietnamese trainees at Hiroshima University and the University of Idaho (USA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VJS has had the honor of being received by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Former Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, during state-level visits and working trips to Japan from 2023 to 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
