Assist. Prof. Nguyen Tuan Hung, Tohoku University (Co-chair)

New frontiers in materials science refer to the latest advancements and emerging research areas within the field of materials science. This section will focus on the topological materials for advanced spintronic devices, the neutron irradiation target material for radio pharmacy production, the two-dimensional material for the optic device, smart materials for agricultural applications, etc. The “frontiers” in materials science means that it can evolve over time as new discoveries are made and technologies advance. Therefore, in this section, we would like to invite researchers in the material science field to join us to discuss the future of material science in its applications with experts from both Vietnam and Japan.

This special session includes 6 keynote and invited speakers who are experts in the field of Material Science:

🔔Prof. Hisayuki Suematsu, Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan

🔔Assist. Prof., Eka Lutfi Septiani, Hiroshima University, Japan

🔔Assoc. Prof., Pham Nam Hai, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan

🔔Asst. Prof., Nguyen Tuan Hung, Tohoku University, Japan

🔔Dr. Ngo Huynh Thien, National Institute for Materials Science, Japan
